FROM AN EARLY AGE, BEING ACTIVE IN CHURCH WAS IMPORTANT TO ME.

I will never forget the day I asked my parents to start taking me and my sister to church. It was a transformational moment! The sense of community, mission, and impact was just what I needed. I knew life in the church was going to be integral to who I was becoming. I eventually went on to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in theology.   

In my first professional ministry role I was part of a capital campaign. The process was amazing! The blending of stewardship, strategic planning, financial forecasting, all cradled in prayer and spiritual growth was inspiring. After I’d worked on several campaigns, I was asked to join a national consulting firm – giving me an opportunity to build relationships across the country through campaign management.

My experiences with different congregations helped me understand what’s really important to churches seeking to grow. A vision, a plan, and an invitation of humble support are the foundation of a strong tomorrow. That's why I founded Solheim Stewardship.

I guide my clients with personalized service aiming to establish lasting relationships. I consult with a limited number of campaigns in order to fully invest in a ministry’s growth. 

I only consult on a limited number of campaigns per year, which is giving me some time to write a book – my first 100 campaigns and the lessons I’ve gleaned from them. Additionally, I serve as an adjunct professor at a local graduate school, instructing students on fundraising and philanthropy.
